Edge Hill University’s main campus is located in 160 acres near Ormskirk in West Lancashire. Lakes and green spaces can be found alongside award winning building developments which reflect almost 130 years of history and innovation.

New buildings help to fulfil the vision of a visually inspiring, sustainable environment, and include the flagship Creative Edge and Catalyst buildings, a new Arts Centre building that houses the Rose and Studio Theatres, new Biosciences and Geosciences facilities and Student Hub.

The transformation continued with phase two of the new state of the art sports complex which allows students, staff and the local community to enjoy some of the best sports facilities in the country.

Thermatic Technical FM support Edge Hill University with full planned preventative Electrical, HVAC & refrigeration maintenance. We maintain the Edge Hill campus to a safe, compliant and comfortable environment for their students to thrive. Where there are any reactive requirements, Thermatic provides a 2-hour on-site response to make sure issues are resolved in line with KPIs and to minimise disruption to the students & their business.

Our Electrical commission provides full EICR, Thermal Imaging, PAT, Earth, Solar & UPS testing along with all follow up remedial works.

A recent success was the completion of the EICR testing and reporting that was brought forward 18 months and completed out of hours to a stringent
deadline. Thermatic Technical FM are working in partnership with Edge Hill University to fulfil their fresh FM objectives. This includes full asset verification in line with SFG20.

We ensure that Edge Hill University’s assets are compliant with legislation, repaired within appropriate timescales and included in a 30-year criticality lifecycle plan.
