Academy
Opened in October 2018 by Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham, the Thermatic Academy is an integral part of our business and delivering an exceptionally high standard of work. The Academy is specifically designed to ensure we can continually develop and up-skill our engineers on the latest technologies in an ever-changing industry. Many of the UK’s biggest suppliers hold their own accredited training schemes in our Academy giving our engineers the knowledge to support our clients.
Qualifications
New to the Academy from 2020, we’ll be providing industry recognised qualifications in Plumbing, Electrical and Renewable installations to engineers both in-house and externally.
INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE?Training & Development
Training and development are important to our people as well as our supply chain partners, creating a culture of continual learning and development. Our purpose-build Academy is the epicentre of Thermatic Homes, delivering bespoke training with hands-on access to industry technologies.
Community Outreach
Only 28% of 11-14 year olds have taken part in a STEM careers activity in the last year, 59% of them would consider a career in engineering, but don’t have a direct resource to engage in a hands-on STEM activity within a STEM environment.
The Thermatic Academy gives young people the opportunity to visit an operational environment and experience how a business functions from answering the critical calls from our service desk, to developing our engineers’ skills.
Through our community outreach programs, the Academy engages with local schools and universities to introduce them into the industry with hands-on workshop experience through team work and practical learning. Are you in education and interested in learning more about our community outreach programs?
